It’s the most wonderful time of the year … we are bringing gifts in this episode where Stacey and Dave unveil a new part of the Cups To Gallons website that can bring you big bucks … and offer a free gift that can help you add an extra $800 a day or more to your business.
Hello everybody. Stacey and Dave here from Coffee Talk Live: Cups to Gallons. I’m just checking in to make sure we are streaming.
We are live. Hey Dave, how are you?
I’m doing great.
Stacey, how are you? Happy holidays.
It’s the most wonderful time of the year. Welcome to Coffee Talk Live the show. Where independent coffee smoothie, juice bar, ice cream, dessert and snack shops come together to talk shop, learn the best business building and marketing ideas and have lots of fun along the way. I know everybody. It’s crazy time. It’s holiday time.
We have three big things that we want to talk to you about today. Number one is it’s the holidays. So we want to give you some tips about holiday marketing and we have two big announcements. So you’re going to want to stay tuned. Pop in, say hello. Engage with us. Let us know where you are coming in from. So to start us out in the holiday marketing, I have some questions, some holiday trivia for Dave and you, you watchers and listeners out there today. If you know the answer, just type it in. We’ll see if anybody gets these right.
All right, question number one. What is the best selling Christmas Carol of all time?
I have to go with Jingle Bells.
White Christmas by Bing Crosby, over 50 million copies sold since the 1940s. Anybody get that right? Let’s see. Let me tune in over here.
I can’t see, Nope. Oh, we have Nicole and John. Thanks for joining in today.
All right, question number two, Dave in the TV special, How the Grinch Stole Christmas. What three words best describe the Grinch?
All right. Fail.
Stink, stank, stunk. Hopefully, none of you have Grinch customers, but that would be another reason why you want to get into catering and we’ll talk more about that in a few minutes.
And finally, Dave, what Christmas beverage is awesome known as milk punch?
Am I going to go zero for three?
Come on. You know the answer.
I ended with that one because eggnog is a better beverage and you guys out there who have coffee, smoothie, juice bar, ice cream, dessert and snack shops. I bet you’re doing some kind of eggnog themed, holiday treats.
Right, so Dave, fill people in on what our schedule has been like these past two weeks when it comes to holiday marketing.
I just have one word in saying that it’s been really crazy. This has been the busiest year. I can remember.
Yeah. Our sales, I’m going to share our numbers with you. We did over $40,000 in these past two weeks, which is actually more than double what we did it last December as a whole, and we’re not really even doing any marketing. Our clients know that if they don’t get in our calendar, they are not going to get their day and time.
I think we had somebody call today to schedule for today. They called at 2:00 for 3:30 PM.
Now Dave was it always like that for us?
Absolutely not. No, of course not. When we first started, we didn’t even think about, you know, really tying catering in with the holidays because our product, when we started really in the catering part of our business with smoothies and it’s December in Washington DC, which is not exactly warm. So we really didn’t have any catering business this time of the year for many, many years.
Right. That’s exactly right. And when we first started catering, we just kind of died off in the winter and so did our cash flow and then we started realizing, well why don’t, why don’t we do some kind of catering in the winter? And our mindset, in the beginning, wasn’t quite right cause we’re like, well we’re not a caterer. Catering means we have to do food because that’s what people want during the holidays. Well gosh were we wrong in glad we figured that out. So actually it kind of happens in two ways. One is we subcontract under caterers who are doing food to offer gourmet coffee and espresso bars and hot chocolate bars with toppings. Those are our two most popular packages this time of year and both are just so easy to do. Our staff love doing them, corporate clients. It could be actually a building that’s doing it as tenant appreciation or the office themselves doing it as like a holiday treat.
We’ve done some churches over the weekend. We’ve been doing churches that are having events for their congregation and we even do the private parties. So it really covers the gamut, right?
Right. Everything. It covers everything. So if you have any questions about how to go from Cups to Gallons, which is by getting into lucrative catering, just type your question into the chat so we can make sure that we answer those. Now we have two really exciting announcements that we want to share with you, Dave. You want to let them in on the first one.
Okay. Now you’re out there, you’re in your shop. You probably have these wonderful coffee, smoothie, juice, bar, whatever it is that you sell. You have your secret recipe, right? But you’re always looking for something new, something that you can offer to your clients or your customers. Well, ding dah, dah. Dang.
We’ve added a new section to the Cups to Gallons website where we are sharing recipes. So if you go to https://cupstogallons.com/recipes and know that we are adding more continually day after day. So this is a building process. You will find many recipes there that you’re welcome to use and try out in your store and or with catering.
So I’m going to let out the cat out of the bag and there’s only three there, right? We just had to get something up there. We have over 300 ready to go that we did coming out pretty much daily. So we have plenty of recipes for coffee drinks, all kinds of cool stuff and they are really good. A lot of them, we’ve tried a lot of them and we want to feature you. If you have a special recipe that you’re proud of, let us know.
We’ll post it up there. We’ll put your name, your logo and give you a backlink so you get the recognition. And if you’d love to come on Coffee Talk Live with us, we’d love to feature you. We can stream you in live from your shop and we’ll give you a lot of visibility. And exposure as well. All right, so thank you to those who have tuned in so far today.
And the biggest announcement of the day, Santa is here. We have a special gift for you. Ready? Announcing. It’s the book Cups to Gallons. You guys have been asking us to please share our secrets of how we took our business from $500,000 in debt to a seven-figure profitable business. Basically going from Cups to Gallons.
So we have been working for the past six months in detailing out the specific strategies that we use even in our business today. And it’s all in this book, the roadmap. You can take it and you know what, because it’s the holidays, we’re gifting it to you for free. We want to get this book in your hands so that you can learn how to go to from Cups to Gallons. So Dave, you want to talk a little bit about what’s in the book and where they can go to get it?
It’s our secret recipe, the roadmap that they’re going to get from this book.
The Cups to Gallons model is about a five-step simple process that you can use to implement, to go from Cups to Gallons. We literally lay out the blueprint, just follow these five simple steps and you can build and grow a successful and profitable catering business. It’s really quite simple. We lay out everything from the equipment that you need to the systems in place, how to do the marketing. A lot of the questions that you’ve been asking here in the group, how to do a menu, how to do the pricing, all of the questions that you have, they are detailed in this book, so how can people get a copy of it?
That’s a really good question. Before we give you the where to get this book. The one thing to understand is this book is really an easy, fast read as well. It’s not going to take you weeks to read this. It’s so concisely written and the recipe is so clean. You’ll get through this and just, a couple of days maybe. So that’s really important for you cause you want to get started as quickly as possible. Right? So you can find this book on our website at https://CupsToGallons.com/book,
https://CupsToGallons.com/book and we will send you a free copy.

Yeah, here’s the details. So you can go to Amazon and order the book, but you’re going to pay $14.95 to get it. As we said, we want to give the book to you. It’s the holiday season and we sincerely want you to learn how to go from Cups to Gallons. So you have to go to https://CupsToGallons.com/book and you can get the book for free, the only but is you just have to pay a very nominal shipping and handling fee so we can get it in your hands much less than you’re going to pay from getting it from Amazon. So if you order it today, it’s probably going to take another week or two to get to you cause we have to finish as I’m proofing the book and get it into final production.
But after that this thing is going hot off the press and we only have a limited supply of free books available. So claim your free copy but it probably won’t be there in time to go under the tree. But this is the best gift that you can give yourself to start your new year strong. And you can have a December like we’re having next year.
Yes. Imagine that. Imagine having your best ever. Now you know, are you making $40,000 in two weeks? And here’s the thing, we’re doing it in just a few jobs, four hours a day. Each job is about four hours. But we lay out exactly how to do it in the Cups to Gallons books. So we hope you take advantage and get a copy of it. And I see a lot of people have come on.
