How To Answer Questions and Concerns About Your Catering Services

Here’s the transcript:

Hey kids, don’t try this at home, but definitely try this in your business. I’m here at the DC auto show and I really want to commend Audi who’s one a great example of marketing. And how you can apply this in your coffee, smoothie, juice bar, ice cream dessert, snack shop concept when it comes to catering.

You see, people are going to have concerns and hesitations. Just like maybe an electric car. Oh an electric car, it can’t go fast, it has no control. But Audi is proving that by letting you experience that. Well people are going to have questions and concerns about your catering. How are you different? Are you just dropping it off and we have to do it all ourselves? Do you clean up? Why don’t I just come and get it myself?

Food is not just eating energy. It’s an experience.

So you have to address those concerns by being an experience. Maybe in your coffee, smoothie, juice bar shop you’ve set up your catering, and invite people in and let them experience that. You do video, you have social proof, testimonials … and don’t drive like that when you go out on a catering job. But look guys, it’s all about providing an experience so that, that’s really what they’re buying, right? They’re not buying the electric car, they’re buying the experience. So you need to showcase and help them explain what that’s all about.

All right I’m off to take a test drive because this is pretty darn cool.

This is Small Business Stacey. Your small biz marketing specialist. Here to help you learn how to get into lucrative catering so you can stop selling by the cup and start selling by the gallon.
